GSP Software Settings: In Gerber’s Plot program, click on the “123” button then on the substitute button and select vinyl. Select “220 Scotchcal" or "Imagecal” from the pull-down menu as the vinyl to print on.
The default cutter settings for “imagecal” should work for the 6 mil. Convex. For 10 mil. (6+4 mil. laminate), if you have a Gerber enVision 375 cutter, in Gerber’s Plot program, go to cutter settings “F7” and set the Speed to 33, Acceleration to 66, Force to 25 or more depending on the age of your blade, and Sharp Corners to 80.
For 14 mil. (6+8 mil. laminate) – S-33, AC-66, F- 40+, SC-80.
For Pro-Shield laminates, use double cuts.
If you do not have enVision series Gerber cutter, you will have to determine the settings by testing the material. If you are using Mac Imprint™, please test your cutter settings.
USE A 60º BLADE on any combination of material 8 mil or thicker.
