Non-Slip Laminate For Traction on Power and Water Sports Equipment

Stubbl is a deeply textured, 18 mil thick clear PVC laminate with a long lasting high strength adhesive.

Laminate Stubbl to products where ever extra grip is needed–Floor graphics, wind surf boards, boats, docks, ATV’s, hot tubs, etc. Stubbl will work wet or dry, and it’s completely clear, so you can put it over graphics without ruining the colors or the look of the piece.

Heavily textured Stubbl exceeds OSHA and ADA Standards for non-slip protection on hazardous surfaces.

Overview

See this guy’s chin? Yup, that’s what it feels like. Except that it won’t take your skin off. Stubbl isn’t like skateboard tape–it is a heavily textured 18 mil thick laminate designed for applications where you need more traction or grip. This heavily textured clear flexible laminate provides anti-slip characteristics to the surface or media it is applied to. Stubbl works when it is dry or wet and therefore is recommended for watercraft and tubs as well as bikes and other recreational vehicles.

Recommended Application Techniques: When laminating, if there is too much drag/tension applied on the supply roll it will stretch and curl up immediately when it is cut. Cut testing has been done with the Gerber enVision 375 plotter only. Stubbl is an embossed vinyl and can be cut with plotters that can accept thick laminate materials. We suggest using double cuts whenever possible and adjust the knife out to the thickness you need to cut. The end user is responsible for determining the exact cutting force media combination they are using. We suggest cutting with a 60º or 45º blade. Recommended Base Vinyl

CHB_200x107

Convex High-Bond is used to make decals for motocross bikes and other applications to low-energy plastic surfaces.

Finish: Gloss or Matte for Gerber and Summa thermal printers.  High-Bond Matte is recommended for ink jets.

Applications: Use Convex when you need an extremely pliable vinyl to cover complex curves.  Convex was originally designed for helmets with GearWrap adhesive.  Convex with High-Bond adhesive is designed for low-energy plastics.  Pro-Form laminates are the softest and easiest for the average person to apply.  Pro-Shield laminates are harder (not as flexible until you heat them) and tougher to rub through.

Motowrap: gives you excellent high-bond adhesion to plastics, and will stay on even in frigid weather.

Finish: Gloss

Applications: MotoWrap is great for Sleds and other machines that will feel the cold.  It will conform to the complex curves of MX bikes and ATV fenders.  It is also compatible with MotoWrap, Pro-Form, and Pro-Shield laminates.  MotoWrap™ gives you the best mix of economy, adhesion and conformability to compete in the fast-paced decal market.

PitbullMX-237x110

Pitbull™ is the vinyl with adhesive that won’t let go.

Finish: Gloss for thermal printers and inkjets.

Applications: Pitbull is ideal for LSE applications such as pelican cases and motorsport vehicles.  It also works on coolers and other textured plastic surfaces.  Due to the aggressiveness of the adhesive, wet application techniques may be preferred.  Pitbull vinyl may not remove cleanly from surfaces.  For that reason, on MX plastics it may be advantageous to sell new plastic with the decals already installed.
